1965 GMC Driver's Directory
This neat little booklet was for locating a GMC dealer to fix your truck while travelling. So where`s there`s Dealers there could be early 60`s GMC trucks in that area today.

Neat Norm, FB Hart is still here in Sacramento, Calif.... big rig shop anymore....

They closed the GMC truck centre in Montreal years ago ( bulldozed the building) then later Chevrolet Truck Centre closed ( bulldozed that one too.)and they all went to a dealership called Plaza and a few years ago they yanked the Cars and trucks from them.
I used to be able to go to the Chevrolet truck centre till 2am. They had the old parts books and experienced counter guys who would look at your part and suggest a substitute to keep you going. Now if it`s not on the computer it doesn`t exist. |
