1972 Brake change

I have 1972 c10 with factory disk brakes in front--i have converted the back over to disk also--I plan on changing the master cylinder-booster--p valve out any way-what should i go back with--the 1972 setup are with the disk change do I need to go to a later model booster--etc?---Thanks for the help

The booster and such should be fine. You might want to change over to a Corvette master cylinder combo/prop valve so that you get the proper bias for the front/rear system now.

What rear brakes/system did you go with?

As Zeke said booster should be fine but you likely need a disc/disc master cylinder. Either aftermarket or Corvette (ie: 1970 Corvette with disc/disc). Get the combo valve from that setup as well, and add a proportioning valve on the rear (since your weight bias is likely different than that of a Corvette).

That's what I have on my 2+2, and it works. Check the master cyl bore size though, you don't want to go too different. I think I actually may have a mismatch between the cylinder bore and the wheel cylinders, so watch for that.

Thanks for the help--the setup I got it several yeats ago off ebay and just now getting around to putting it on...Fit was great...I guess I will check the corvette setup out---maybe those parts want set me back too much...
