WTB - Factory Cruise system for '71

I know that this is a long shot but I gotta try. Looking for a complete factory cruise control system or parts correct for a '71 Chevy truck. Would at least like to have the original style turn signal lever w/cruise button for a tilt column. If I can't find a system I have a NOS system for a little later Chevy truck that I could use if I could find the correct turn signal lever.

Would a cruise control for a 71-72 Chevy car be the same such as out of a Chevelle, Monte Carlo or Impala?

If you scroll down... here in the parts section. There should be a Restored set for a '67 ... it looks just like the setup in my 71' and is correct according to LMC.

I was the one who posted about the Restored 67 system - it's already sold. I have heard that the 71-72 system is different than the earlier systems. Not 100% sure though.

Good luck on the search, this is 72 I believe I have a set up but my switch has the word cruise master across the bottom and a button in the center.

The CRUISE MASTER button that you have in your hand was a 72 only item. 71 and earlier had the button in the turn signal switch. The reason I heard for the change had to do with warranty work. The factory installed (71 and earlier) had problems so they went to a dealer installed (72 only) to get around having to keep fixing them. My .02

I have an extra turn signal arm with the cruise button you can have for $15 plus shipping. It is chrome and the button and plastic on the end are black. I don't know if it is correct of not. I can post a pic of it if someone would be able to tell.

If it's off a tilt column you can consider it sold. I sent you a PM Mark.

Rod,
I wonder if it could be changed over to the button on the turn signal stalk? Would you be interested in selling or trading your cruise system?

If that cruise lever is for 67-70 I'll take it regardless if its not for a tilt. Rod
