Doug Thorley 324YC LS Headers

I have a brand new pair of Doug Thorley conversion headers. These are designed to work on a LS motor installed in a 67-72 chevy truck. I can get pictures but they are brand new still in the original box.
Would like $550 Shipped. I also have a set of the MSD wires recommended for these headers part# 32829 new in box as well. I will throw these in for another $50.
I am in Prescott AZ but will ship.

How much would you sell the headers for if I picked them up? Do you have the part number for them?

Do these fit above the frame rails? I want to know if they will fit on a body dropped truck

Re: Doug Thorley 324YC LS Headers

I would go $520 picked up.

I am not sure what you are asking about above the frame rails? They go inside of the frame rails and I didn't install them but from what i have been told they don't hang below the frame much if at all. The part# is 324YC. If you search that on this website there is several people that have used them and some installed pics.

That's what I meant, just want to make sure they don't hang below the frame rails. I've searched it and have seen a few that use these on their LS conversion but most were static drops. I'm looking for someone with air suspension laying frame using these to be sure there is enough clearance for these to fit.

Re: Doug Thorley 324YC LS Headers

I did try to bolt the left one on but wouldn't work because my clutch linkage was in the way.

Rob I will do the 575 if you are ok with the fact they have been opened and attempted to install the left one.

Re: Doug Thorley 324YC LS Headers

Ok guys it has been about six months since I tried to install these so I went and pulled them out and looked them over very carefully and here is the deal. The right one has never even been unwrapped it is exactly new. The left one has been unwrapped and I tried to install it. I put one bolt in the center hole of the header and it was only finger tight. If you look very closely you can see scuffs where the head of the bolt rubbed the ceramic coating but it was never even tightened up. there is also 3 different places on the header that is very slightly scuffed. I wouldn't call them scratches but you can see where the header touched the frame while I was trying to install it. I am being very picky here you have to really look at the header to find what I am talking about. The gaskets and collectors are still in the original sealed plastic and never been opened. I would say that most people opening up these headers would think that they had never been opened, everything is repackaged and wrapped exactly like it originally was. If you are buying these to install on your own pickup I guarantee you will be completely happy, but if a vendor is trying to buy these and then resell them as brand new well......
