wheel id? minilite?? superlite??

I was wondering if anyone has ever come across a minilite style wheel with specs 15x8.5? only other stamping i can find says "C.S.I." I googled around and CSI sold wheels in the 80's..just cant seem to find a catalog. They look like 8 spoke minilites or superlites and are 5x5 specific, not unilug. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!

I was with my friend,who has a restored to original '72 Camaro SS396,at a swap meet a few years ago and someone was selling a set with tires that were the car pattern. I told him they'd be really hot looking on that car of his as a cool alternative to (what I think are) the boring stock size tires and correct rallyes. His car id nut & bolt original,but those would be so period correct road race/trans am style and you just don't see them.I mean,all you do is swap them on or off and have all original or just too dang cool. Anyway,we went back after just a short time and "POOF" an we were looking at an empty space where there once were an opportunity for some "make your car really stand out" wheels and tires. They looked like 8 x15 with just the right size rubber.
I've never seen these on a truck,I don't think. But they sure would look good. The wider the better.

yeah, i came across those old trans am pics while googling...they look great on them forsure. I went ahead and scooped them up, they had some kind of center cap on them thats missing..thats really what i was trying to find. You can never have too many sets of old wheels!! =)

heres a few pics after a little cleaning...you see where the screw holes are around the lug holes( 3 per wheel) they each held a little clip for the hub cap, just wish i knew what it looked like.

If you're bucks up then these guys will whip you up a set. No problem clearing your calipers with these.

I assume you determined they're Carroll Shelby Vintage 8 wheels. I think that's what the CSI stands for.
I google imaged them. Found a couple that were true knock-off style. Maybe yours were modified for a fake knockoff cap or a 3 spoke cap.

i was trying to figure out between those or the trd (toyota) wheels sold under the C.S.I name. Makes more sense that its the shelbys with the backspacing and lug pattern. Thanks again for the help, i really appreciate it man!!

Don't give them away. I found a set on google images for 1000 bucks. Made for a chevy camaro.

These would look awesome on the right truck. My friend had a bright blue '68 SWB Fleetside with black rallye strips on the cowl induction hood. The truck runs a ZZ3 and is screamin' for some sort of vintage sport wheels like these. It sits low and level (4/6 I think) and he just swapped the set of 10" spiral wheels that came on his '85 SWB. I never liked those wheels but the deep aluminum rim sure has that road hugger look.
