That is pretty cool, where about in the store was it.? Might have to get some of that, does it say anything about keeping the treat from coming back or does it just remove it.

A respirator and rubber gloves will prevent this.

Re: Before & then after.....what is this stuff??

This looks like a great product but....vinegar will do the same thing at a fraction of the cost. It might take a little longer but results are the same. I have tried a few parts using vinegar with good results. I like vinegar little more since it is in the garage where my kids and dog occasionally go. Not bashing the product but I actually read about the vinegar trick on this forum before.

Re: Before & then after.....what is this stuff??

Looks like it's pretty safe too. Kind of unusual to get zero's across the board on the first line of the MSDS.

http://www.evaporust.com/docs/MSDS%20Evaporust.pdf

I'll try it soon.

Re: Before & then after.....what is this stuff??

I've tried this stuff & vinegar but my preference is something called Prep-n-etch. I get it at Home Depot for under $16 a gallon.

The nice thing is you mix it 50/50 with water so your getting 2 gallons for that price.

This evaporust and similar products work ok the first time but IMO just don't last very long. Performance greatly drops on the second use and after that, it wasn't even worth bothering with.

Vinegar is even worse. Worked great on first use but after that just about useless. (plus it stinks to high heaven!)

The Prep-n-etch last and last and lasts. I just keep using over and over until it gets too scummy. Even then it still works! LOL
