I bought this with the intention of running the 72 style throttle cable when I swap the big block into our 71 GMC but decided to stay with the 71 style rod for simplicity's sake.

Just an FYI for you or anyone else who may be looking for info on this subject, 70 was the last year for the throttle rod style of linkage. All 71 & 72 C/10-20-30's w/V-8 & 4 bbl carb used the same accelerator cable and cable bracket, both SB and BBC shared/used the same cable Pn. 6264923 and bracket Pn. 3998796. Mel
