Rookie question. Anyone have a pic of battery - and +

Starting working on a 67 didn't have a battery and I wanna make sure I put it in the right my. I know I sound like a D A$$ but I just wanna be sure the positive and negaitive look like there switched. Any help would be nice thanks A picture would be great but anything will help

positive will have a larger lug on the battery

Both battery sockets are new the same sIze the post on the battery are different? but which one goes to wall terminal block the negative or positive

The + cable will go down the side of the engine down to the starter and is usually red. The - cable will be bolted to the engine block somewhere, usually around the front and is usually black.

When I bought my truck both wires were black

Easiest way to tell is find the one going to the starter.

Red is positive (+), Black is negative or ground (-) I ran a extra ground strap from were I have it mounted on the alternator bracket to the frame.
