Can I use stock shocks with a 3/5 drop?
I bought a set of drop springs for my truck from CPP. 3" for the front and 5" for the back. The truck has brand new stock shocks in it and was wondering if I can keep the new shocks with this drop? I've read some threads that say yes and others that say no. Some have mentioned installing a rear shock relocation kit.
Any advantages/disadvantages either way? Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Scott

You need drop shocks front and rear at the minimum. If you don't believe me, try driving it and see what happens
An adjustable panhard bar and relocater brackets are also needed if you want the rear end centered and the shocks to function properly.

Re: Can I use stock shocks with a 3/5 drop?
Depends on what part numbers you have. Stock replacement shock lengths vary significantly between manufacturers, even between product lines. I know that the stock replacement blue Monroes will work, but you will definitely want relocators out back- new shocks or not. Early Classic Enterprise or Classic Performance Parts are good ones.

Re: Can I use stock shocks with a 3/5 drop?
Thanks guys......so if I get the relocators for the rear, do I need other shocks or I can use the stock ones with the relocated mounts?
