steering conversion question

Hi I am in the middle of swapping the steering and disc brakes from an 81 1/2 ton onto my 65. Can someone provide me with a picture as to where the donor idler arm should go? The old one was straight up and down where it bolted on and the 81 is on quite a slant. I just want to be sure where to mount it properly...thanks.

Re: steering conversion question

I don't have the exact measurements you are asking for. What you will have to do, is take some reference measurements as to where the end of the draglink is with the original idler arm. Then position the new idler so that the end of the draglink is in the same location. Then mark and drill your new holes.

Re: steering conversion question

Wasn't really worried about the measurements just wanted to see a picture of the arm mounted, and I found one. Thanks!
