Talking Hello from NE Alabama

Hello all!

My name is Adam and I live in Gadsden, AL. I have been reading the forums here for years but have just registered. I have a 1972 Chevy c10 that I drove and tinkered with in high school 14 years ago. It has been sitting in the yard at my parents house for over 12 years but it is now time to bring her back to life. I also have a second '72 Chevy parts truck that will supply engine, auto transmission, power steering and power brakes for my truck. The parts truck will be moved to my house next week to start pulling the needed parts to start my build in a few weeks.

I will get pictures and the build details together and start a build thread as soon as I get started.

Re: Hello from NE Alabama

I hope to go pick up my parts donor truck next week from my parents house to start stripping the needed parts from it. I will take some pictures of both trucks while I am there. I am also trying to locate a picture of what it looked like when I drove it in high school.

Re: Hello from NE Alabama

OK, so my guy that was going to haul my trucks for me had to leave for work for 2 or 3 weeks so it will be a little while before I can get started. I did go to my parents house and grab some pictures today.

The black truck in the woods is the one I am building. The multi color one is the parts truck supplying the engine, auto trans, power steering, power brakes and some other misc parts. I know the build truck looks rough but it is just dirty from being in the woods. the only problems with it is the rust/bondo (from PO) in the pass door and a half way floor and rocker patch I did when I was 14 or 15. it is very solid otherwise.
