Finally mine, "the 65 Ascross the scales"

I finally traded the Boss out of the 65 parts truck that came ascross the scales way back on 12-23-2011 ... I put tires and wheels on it today to make it easier to move around.

For those that don't remember, It was a 1965 C-10 custom cab, 283 v-8, powerglide, factory air, factory power steering truck with most of the goodies left on it.. I am going to put an extra front clip I have on it to protect the engine and keep it for my grandpas 65 six cylinder truck in case I want to switch it over

Here is some pics the day it came in and then today with wheels going on

I can't believe what gets crushed, think of the 1000's of other places that don't save anything.

at some point can you take a pic of the dash with the a/c vents removed. i want to see if the opening is the same as the common ash tray or if it needs to but cut for a factory air conversion. thank you

The opening is larger and has to be cut to fit. There are several threads on it and someone created a print for it that I used as well.

I will take pictures tomorrow, they are very different. I have 3 factory air trucks so I will get you a pic tomorrow. I could even trace it out on a piece of paper and mail a template to you if you like.
