Brake shoes
ANyone had any problems with Oriley's brand of brake shoes. I'd rather go with raybestos/monroe/wagner from rock auto, but need to get the brakes buttoned up before the weekend. Napa would be another option?

Re: Brake shoes
O'Reillys house brand (BrakeBest) shoes used to be made by Wagner and their ceramic pads were Bosch.
My last rear brake job was the BrakeBest and I've had no problems. |

Re: Brake shoes
Thanks, found a set at A-Line auto that were made by wagner. The folks at Oriley's couldn't tell me who made theirs (new store and new employees, so occasionally get the deer in the headlights look.......)

Re: Brake shoes
NAPA still carries some good parts but here in my neck of the woods they've gone down in quality some. I've bought some parts that weren't up to par from them. Even CarQuest has an occasional dud but it's always best to buy local from a place you can return them to if they're not up to your expectations.
