coil spring question

hi guys i have a 1968 chev truck and it has drop spindles on the front not sure what size i would 2 1/2 but im not sure if they put a drop spring with it because the back has a drop coil and the stance of the truck is the front sits a little higher than back any advice and help would be great i was just going to order the 3 inch drop coil and figured that would bring the front down a lot more with the drop spindle thanks alot guys i appreciate the help

I would'nt go with three inch drop springs personally, I had the same setup your talking about, 3 inch drop spring with the 2.5 drop spindel was too low and crossmember and exhaust would constantly be at risk of scraping. Two inch spring is what I have now and i am much happier with it. Its all personal preferance and the area you live in also...good luck,

cut off one coil in front. 2" additional drop. alignment. Done.
