What size engine is the ECM for?

Edit: Oh, and the label on the box says TBI?

Re: TPI Wiring Harness

Sorry for the delay. It was going on a 383, which I'm told is technically a 350(?). Yes it looks like it does say TBI. I don't know what that means though. Let me know if interested.

If that is the original box it means that the kit is for a Throttle Body Injection engine (TBI) Not a tuned Port Injection engine (TPI).

As a side note here are the applications for the ECM:

ECM 16198259 is a Replacement for the 1227165

Applications:
1986 2.0 L4 TBI “P” LQ5 w/ MT
1986-89 5.0 V8 TPI “F” LB9
1986-89 5.7 V8 TPI “8” L98
1987-91 truck 2.5 L4 TBI “E” LN8
1991 truck 2.5 L4 TBI “A” L38

All you need is a different PROM chip for the different applications.

Re: TPI Wiring Harness

It does look like it says TBI. I have no idea if it's the original box, but I'm assuming it is. It came in the box with the Blazer I bought from VTBlazer, and the motor came set up with a TPI. So I don't know why he have a harness for a TBI but a TPI on the engine. Something's not adding up.
