help with identifying spindle and axle!! please
Ok, I have a c30 straight axle on my 64 chevy nova. I know this is a chevy truck forum but I have know where else to go Haha.. im trying to find a disc brake conversion kit for the straight axle. I've tried several places with no success. I know its off of a c30 but not sure of the year.im thinking 60's but no 100%. Lug pattern is 5 on 4 3/4. Here are some pics.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Please help identify.. thanks

Its 1959 back i know 1960 they redesigned the truck it got a ifs.I remember a post on here said something about car brakes fitting if i find it ill post a link.

The kit referenced says 1/2 ton.

Well, something must have been changed since the bolt pattern is 5 on 4 3/4. 1 ton was 6supposed pr maybe 8 lug right????

Yeah its a 5 lug now so its been changed or its a 1/2 ton im not sure tho.Did you buy the axle or was it already in the car?

It could even be from a 60s chevy van,I would try jalopyjournal.com i know its another forum but they are more in to the old hot rods and gasers they would know better then us.
