Can you get a windshield that isnt tinted on the top ?

I am wanting to see if anyone knows of a company that makes windshields for our trucks that arent tinted across the top ??

when I was researching my new windshield I saw this

They say clear is available, I didn't use them though.

I went with Pilkerton and ordered it local. (with tint)

Might be worth a call.

Can you look at the manufacturer on yours and let me know, my glass shops around here say they can only get the tinted ones ! Thanks

that's called shaded and may be or not your choice only available with tinted windshield but can be ordered without

i told my glass guy i wanted the factory green tint window, and he showed up with a clear window with a blue tint at the top...... was very disappointed...

When I got mine all the local glass installers said they couldnt get clear, only availabe with tint strip, got my clear one from Brothers and had a local installer come install it. No manufacturer name on mine, just says "laminated safety glass" with a DOT#.

My son is a profesional glazier. He recomended Pilkerton. So thas what Ive got. Pilkerton non-shaded. Ordered it from the local glass shop, and my son installed it. Looks great btw.

I have one with blue tint on top. Local auto glass shop said it was either blue or green, clear was not an option. Still think that a clear window is the best. Looked all over to find a clear one but I ended up with the blue tint on top.

Ppg, safelite just ask for tinted not shaded your local glass shop should be able to help you.

Brothers has the best price so far, totally clear, windshield and back glass shipped for $474.98.....$220 0f that is shipping !! I sure wish i was closer !
