I have this radiator, actually mine is one of the early ones they built so it is a little different than yours. I have some fitment issues, but it is in there. I guess the factory 1500 truck lower hose will work, but I haven't had an opportunity to look at the upper yet. Please share if you get there before the rest of us! lol

I used the 4 core mounts also, but left them in the stock location. Being an early version, mine is not exactly "factory fit" like the web site says. You must have trimmed the lip off of the core support to move the lower mount back then, right?

Any one using the factory truck lower hose? I also thought about using these, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-390024/, for the upper and lower hoses. What do you all think?

It seems to be the easy route, but I'm not sure about the look. But, heck it's got a late model fuel injected engine so I guess I need to let go of the idea of the factory look!

The lower is a possibility, but the upper is on the opposite side.

They do. I didn't use them, I used an AFCO cooler mounted on the frame rail.

Buck,

Any particular reason why you decided not to use them? Do you think it would not be suffice to cool the trans? Thanks

Re: Any one using the entropy lsx swap rad?

I like to use the AFCO rail type coolers and braided lines for simplicity. It's just plain easy.

Re: Any one using the entropy lsx swap rad?

What are the lower mounts for an original 67-68 rad support, I'm guessing 3 row? Also, jtp67-72, did you go with the regular or HD upper cover/mount?

Thanks guys

Re: Any one using the entropy lsx swap rad?

I got one from Entropy. I have it installed but have not used it yet. The quality is excellent. I talked to Tony and had him modify a standard 67-72 radiator so the inlet and outlet connections were the right size also, this way the transmission cooler was on the passenger side of the radiator and I could use stock truck hoses.

Sweet looking set up !! Yes the quality of the rad is great ! I should have mine in this weekend just trying to figure this upper hose out - both my hoses are on the passenger side . Good luck with your build and I hope it runs great for ya ! Thanks for the input
