Air Ride - Pancake
I have an air ride setup that I would like to install. However after seeing some other rides over the past few weeks, there is one thing that another brand has that mine does not. Pancake. My setup has 3 programmable settings. One would be full up, full down and ride height. The other brand has 3 settings plus pancake.
Is there a way to set up manual switch that will release air from all four bags while still maintaining full functionality of the system? For example the kit also has auto levelling featues so if I let the air out manually would it auto try and refill the bags? I am sure this is what would happen, but wondering if that could be bypassed somehow. |

Re: Air Ride - Pancake
I'm not sure what the difference is between "full down" and "pancake". What exactly are you trying to accomplish? I have 3 settings and they are front up for exiting steep driveways, ride height, and layed out. I don't need another one.

Full down and pancake are the same. Just would like an extra setting and not have to have a programmable one as aired out.

Re: Air Ride - Pancake
wouldn't "full down" be the same as pancake?
All pancake means is dumping all 4 at the same time, which sounds like "Full down" Do you still have individual switches, or is it on the pre-programmed settings only? If you have individual momentary switches you can wire in an additional switch, with the power wires off the 4 dumping valves. edit; you said the same thing I said in the first part, I typed too slow.

Re: Air Ride - Pancake
I'm still not sure what your wanting, but I can tell you its possible to dump your system with relays. I had four corner control on my last set up with a fifth switch for dump. One relay triggered all of the dump valves and I hit the ground....well stops anyway..
