Re: Which Blower???
Are you set on a roots type blower? For your application, a Procharger would be safer and more efficient, but you would need a blow through carb.(not cheap)
I would call magnacharger and see what they have, also, Edelbrock has a Great setup. |

Re: Which Blower???
Thats not really a "bolt on and drive it" kind of supercharger... You need a lot of other engine mods for it to work. You are better off with a bolt on procharger kit unless you are planning on pulling your motor and building a new one around that weiand blower.

Re: Which Blower???
Get the smaller "underhood" blower the 142. You will be amazed at what your truck will do with that thing on there, but don't go too crazy with the boost or bad things can happen. Also make double barrel sure that that motor is tuned properly. The 600 may work ok with the blower but I'd call the tech line because the last thing you want to do is lean that thing out too far when mashing the throttle, like I said the 600 may be fine I would think the 750 eledbrock would be better. Infact [ya'll don't flame me for this cause I am a Elderbock guy] the times that I have seen a 750 work best on a small block were on a 142 blower. Any other time the 750 Edelbrock just seems too big and does not run as well as the 600. any way enjoy the blower. Jim
