Question Would this work for an engine driven compressor

I found this on craigs list and was wondering if this would work?? $25 seems like a good deal if it will work right???

I wouldn't put my eggs in that basket.
I think there are several reasons to go with a new/newer system that works/new and you know works.

Thanks. I have electric now but wouldn't mind finding something engine driven. I'll keep looking I guess...

you can use that, rebuild kits are pretty cheap..

Those are some great links, Thanks..

I really want to find a way to make an engine driven compressor. I want to keep the electric for back up or maybe for a second tank for air horns. I guess I will offer $20 and see if he will take it. I have wasted more then that on other stupid stuff if it doesnt work..
