Parts truck for my 63 Chevy

I currently have a 63 lwb fleet side pickup, that I would like to change to a swb stepper, I know not the most popular but what I like best. I have located a 65 model parts truck, and it's been updated with a newer front crossmember and rearend, the frame is painted and everything looks in great shape. I intend to go over everything and make sure its all up to par, brakes, bearings etc. The bed is questionable with one trashed fender, a bad patch on one bed side, and a steel floor welded in. My question is if the bed turns out to be a loss, is the frame worth the $500 asking price? Next question how is the angle for the bed wood attatched to the bedsides? That's what the floor is welded to and may not be that difficult to remove if that angle is easy to remove. Thanks gentlemen I appreciate your opinions. Sorry for my overuse of comas.

Not sure on the bed wood part, but If the frame is "updated" as he claims it is, and the bed is workable I'd say why not. Maybe try getting it a little lower on the price but thats just me. Is it 5-lug and discs and all that? May not be a bad deal

Yes its 5 lug, which really doesn't appeal to me, I dig my current wheels lol. I'm thinking I couldn't piece together the frame/suspension pieces cheaper, but I really don't know what the going rate is for those things. Thanks for the response!
