I'm from the gulf coast, my mom lives in destin. looks like she's OK so far. i'll be down there late september. Hopefully the only hurricanes I'll encounter will be of the beverage kind.

My cousin's daughter's family lives in Picayune and it looks like they are right in the big middle of the path of this one.

One of my buddies from up here who is now in Key West only got strong winds and lots of rain though.

Lucky we don't get those up here, take care all!
My neighbour's a Electircal Linesman and has already been asked to go down to the southern states to help string up new wire if needed.

I still have power and internet. It hasn't quite reached the west end of the Louisiana coast yet. It keep creapin my way though.

I'm stationed in Beaumont, Tx right now waiting for the weather to die down there, we do tree removal for the power line companies.
