bucket seat and console questions
I have a lead on a NICE set of just restuffed and recovered bucket seats and a new console. I am told that they are from a blazer but will fit right into my '69 c10 4x4.
Is this true? If they will fit, are they the correct height? and do they fit in front of the gastank? Thanks and I'm kindof embarrassed to say what the guy wants for the set but the frames are not at all rusty, the seats have brand new foam and the covers are the nice blue/black cloth insert type surrounded by black vinyl, band new. what would a decent price be on such a thing - seats and console |

First of all make sure they are the correct year buckets and brackets. many-a-buckets are advertised as original 69-72 seats and are not. if they are the correct year, they will fit, you just need to drill the holes for the bucket seat brackets.

We put a lot of bucket seat info together here in this thread about adding buckets. Beware of motorhome seats sold as chevy seats. If it has staples into a wood base its not a GM seat.

I already swapped out bench seats that had different bolt patterns and that wasn't necessarily easy for a newby like myself but I did get it in. Next time the carpet is coming out before any more seat work. I might still buy them and put them on the shelf until the day comes to do the body restore that I hope to get to. I'm gonna ponder on it a little more and talk with a guy I know here in KY that is a parts genius and see what he says about all the parts/brackets needed. Thanks again |
