A introduction and discription of my new 68
All,
First I will say that I frequent a lot of message boards and this one seems top notch. My name is Brad and I am from Ashland, MO. At 32 I have FINALLY purchased my first classic truck. I have owned over 40 cars in my short driving time but many years ago I sold the proverbial "one that got away." My dad and built a 72 IH Scout with the 4 cyl diesel motor. Very clean classic but at 16 I was dumb and wanted a mustang. As a Father myself now I have dreamed of the day I would build my son his first rig. I may have just bought it already finished. It is a 68 on a 81 K frame. I bought it from a friend that was getting ready to trailer it to Mecum Dallas. Complete ground up restore. 283 powerpack. Plenty of other details if your interested. On to the pictures. |

Hope your kid doesn't trade it for a Mustang! Nice truck, and welcome.

Nice looking truck. I saw it in one of those trader magazines. Good to see some more picks of it. And welcome to the board.

This is a beautiful truck. I thought someone said putting our trucks on the later frame was a pain in the rear. This looks really nice. If you happen to go camera crazy one day take some pics of the moutning points on the cab forward. Really nice truck welcome to the board!

Re: A introduction and discription of my new 68
Very nice rig!
I own a completely restored 67 Mustang and although it's beautiful, I almost always choose the Cheyenne when I just want to drive. The poor Mustang ends up just sitting in the garage. |
