Radiator fan can you have too many...

I was looking at add an electric IN FRONT of the radiator. I want to keep my mechanical fan.
I don't have room to add it behind (engine side), and I don't want to "replace" the mechanical, with the electric.

Was just looking for thought and opinions, on having both.

It would help to know what reason you need the fan for. Are you trying to cure a symptom and not a cause with your cooling system? In all honesty, going electric only on the back is the best option, but can also be expesnive. Putting a pusher fan on is very inefficient, but can help a little.

^^ That's what I'm wondering also.... are you trying to fix a problem, or prevent a possible problem from ever happening, or....? If the cooling system is in good working order (maybe a 4-row radiator), has the right fan shroud, and a good 7-blade clutch fan (with maybe a HD clutch), the truck should never run hot.
