69 stepside project

Hi guys!
I bought a 69 stepside a few months ago. The car was imported to Norway in 2010 by a friend of mine, he got all the rust in the cab welded and then it just stood for a long time untill I bought it.
Under the hood its a 383 stroker with a TH350 attached to it.
My plans is to get some disc brakes in the front with dropspindles and drop coil springs.

Here is some pictures
Its lowered but not i a good way, looks like they have heated the coil springs.

Re: 69 stepside project

Got the drop kit

decided take the project a bit further. The plan is to freshen up the frame with new paint. The frame is very good for rust.
Some pics

Need some welding here

Re: 69 stepside project

Great project! .. just one thing I noticed. In your upper balljoints, if you flip the bolts the other way the nuts will not interfere with the rubber boot on the upper balljoint. With the nut side down the bolt is a bit long and can wear a hole in that rubber boot. Grease comes out .. etc.

Keep the pics coming! I'm in for the build.
