Doe's anybody have info on which cam I should use in a 402 BB, I've got a Offenhauser in-take tunnel ram that i'm putting on top, truck has 4-11 gears, and a 770r4 tranny. Keep in mind, I'm also at 6500 ft in elevation. Thanks

Call the cam manufacturers.Be able to give them;
weight of vehicle gearing (Tranny and rear end) motor size (boreXstroke) heads compression ratio valve size induction intended use of vehicle whether it has power; steering ;brakes ;other vacuumn related accessories know what type of ignition and any other pertinent data about your combo.All of these factors will influence cam selection. They will be able to give you recomendations on the best cam for your application. You are probably not going to get much street performance with a tunnel ram but it can be somewhat compensated for by the cam. You really need to determine what you want the combination to do then buy/build from that.Most of the time you need to match parts in order to get the engine to do what you want it to do.A tunnel ram looks cool sticking thru the hood but it doesn'tusually produce much low end power.Of course if you are building a straight up stip truck and need the H.P. at high RPM then you may need the ram.
