Re: step notch question?
You sure have a lot of parts there. I take that your trying to make plans for cutting out the stepside bed floor. You may have problems with 22's being stuffed up under the stepside fenders although I think they are higher than fleetsides.
OOPs sorry I thought you talking putting those parts on a stepside. I have no idea where to find that kit. I'm on a static drop |

Re: step notch question?
If you look closely at the components on the floor you will see the "PB" logo on the front saddle. That is a front and rear "Dropmember" by Nathan Porterbuilt. Nate is a forum member and a supporting Vendor here. You can order it directly from Porterbuilt Fabrication or any of his distributors. Many of them are supporting Vendors here as well.
Check out our Suspension and Vendor Marketplace for more details or go to "Porterbuilt Fabrication"

Re: step notch question?
Im not sure if that step notch is porterbuilt. I havent seen him make that style step notch not to say that it isnt, just that i havent seen it on his website.
But that step notch looks a little like an ekstensive bridge. I have this step notch on my 2003 silverado and my friend has this also on his 1987 c10. And yes! It will lay on 22 inch wheels! Its a losid set up |

Re: step notch question?
thanks man is exactly what i was looking for but i'm not sure if i want to run 22s or 24s in the back and i was thinking on put a kp components 6 link also and i don't know if the porerbuilt bolt in step notch can be used with the kp 6 link and the ekstensive step notch looks like match perfectly with the frame and have no complications to be installed .... you have a beautiful truck man!

Re: step notch question?
Kp conponents lays up to a 31" dia tire, and the porterbuilt notch lays up to 32" dia.
Thats the reason why i went with the pb notch. But going with the ekstensive should lay 32" and if im not mistaken they have one that lays up to 38" if you need the room, or you can cut the excess off. Thanks btw, if you notice on my build thread i went with a pb notch but a 2 lnik set up. I did a hybrid mix up of stuff that fit my budget and from parts i had been given through a friend. I suggest the full pb rear set up or the full rear ekstensive set up.. |

Re: step notch question?
also the porterbuilt step notch looks more stronger to tow and the ekstensive looks easy to install without alot of measurements I just have to sliding the notch over the frame but the porterbuilt rear setup is too expensive haha

Re: step notch question?
Not to hijack your thread. But how well will a 2link be for daily driving.
