U joints
Any one know the part number for the u joint used to put a turbo yoke on the drive shaft ( short shaft ) of a 1951 js one tone pickup ? The width of the stock u joint is 3 5/8 wide from outside to outside of the cups . The turbo ( actually 2004r yoke is 3 1/4 outside to outside.

Re: U joints
Here is a list of common conversion U joints http://www.iedls.com/U-Joints/Conversion.asp
That is what you will have to ask for at the parts house (conversion U joint) The best idea if you have both old U joints is to go to a good parts house with both joints in hand and tell them you want to go from this to this. Or dig out your caliper and start measuring. |

Re: U joints
You should be able to cross the Spicer number at most parts houses.
