So Rare! 67 Gmc Parts!

A guy called up and asked, "Did I want to buy a 67 GMC LWB?" Nope-some rust etc, not interested. He called back and asked, "Did I want to buy the tach dash?" Hmmmmmmmmm. Does it have a little black knob on the face? (I was hoping for a longshot--speedwarning) No, it is smooth, but real shiny. OK, pull it and I will buy it anyway. I went to get it and he was right, but said there was something loose & flopping around on the back of it. LOOK! Do you get it? Smooth face was a new bezel and the hole for the knob/cable was not drilled yet. Check the pics & other parts off the truck.

Look at the tach face...an extra white needle. This dash is really clean. Even the orange color on the temp guage is unfaded.

LAST

...and I talked them into parting it...got dlx knobs (67-8) with a smooth matching choke cable, GMC tailgate (not bowed or rusted), 3spd w/overdrive, hood, rh fender and misc.
I will probably sell the dash, after I have had a chance to see if the tach works. I'll let you all know later. Love to find the good stuff!

If that truck has the dash looking glovebox door, I might be interested in it, if it's in good shape.

I'm looking for a complete clutch linkage and shift arms. Must come off a 67/68 with small block in original V8 position and 3 on the tree shifter. The shift arms are different than the 69-72 style because the tranny is different as you know. The clutch linkage parts I need are the rod from pedal, Zbar, engine ballstud and bracket, and frame z-bar retaining bracket with nuts/bolts included. Does this truck have these parts Frank?

Doing a 67 with small block and 3speed column shift tranny.

Thanks
