Question about mounting a plow on a 77

I'm looking at putting a Boss 7.5 ft. plow on my shortbed 1/2 77 Chevy. Problem is Boss says they don't make a mount for it. The oldest they make one for is 1979, same story I got with other manufacturers. Someone said that they changed the frame width in 79, news to me but does anyone know this? If so did they widen or narrow the frame?

Re: Question about mounting a plow on a 77

It should be fine. I swapped the Fisher from my 78 Jimmy to my 82 K20, only had to drill a couple of holes.
