door. maunal to power
i need to replace my door on my truck before paint. can i use a 84 manual crank door and just put all my power window parts in it?
its a 1984

so it will work? i see that lmc dont have different doors for power and manual . so its just bolt right up all my power window stuff?

i always wondered this too, as id like to order power door panels if this could be done with stock junkyard parts?
manual sucks!

i've put manual cranks from my 87 into my 88 so reverse should work no probs
and also all my 89 wing windows,trim, opener handles and (was) powered glass into my 78 with cranks , actually was one prob(older style used metal clips,newer used plastic ones) heck you could use the manual in each till they are all set up the switch hole becomes the crank hole,not sure if a crank hole squared out fits a switch
