Re: Converting 8 lug to 5 lug

NO not one that you can just swap a few piece and go.

The best suggestion I have is to find a hall ton driver quality truck or parts truck with both the front and rear suspension under it and swap the complete front and rear suspension both ways and sell the doner truck. I thought about dong that with my 71 GMC but stayed with the 8 lug as I use the truck to haul and tow too much and just picked up a camper from the same era to match it.

Re: Converting 8 lug to 5 lug

ECE makes a C20 to C10 conversion spindle.
This make the front as easy as swapping spindles and adding C10 rotors and calipers.
A 71-72 rearend would be the easiest swap for the rear.

Is your C20 rearend coil spring or leaf spring?

Why do you need to change them? It's a C-20!

If you use Google to search,... you will be surprised how many searches end up right here on this board.
