progress on the 66 today

I got the cab on the frame today. It helps having your doughter live next door & let you store your cab in her garage for a spell. As you can see all i had to do was roll the chassie next door set the cab on & then roll it back. next prodject to concour is the floor pan & rocker. This is scheduled in two weeks.

Your frame and running gear look good

The cab looks pretty decent from what I can see.

What is the overall plan for your GMC?

OK, I got the GMC part from the roller, but how do you get 55 2dr from a trunk?

Re: progress on the 66 today

Before you clamp the cab into place, if you can mock the front sheet metal up, if not apply a bit of grease to the mounts to make moving the cab around easier when you do install the front sheet metal.. I did not does this and the new mounts stuck and I had to spend a fair amount of extra time getting them to allow the cab to move.

BTW I used to live in Port huron.. I miss the seasons.. Not the snow so much though LOL
