72 sending unit
Have a new in the box sending unit for a behind the seat tank that came with my 72 K10. I put the tank in the rear, so this needs a new home. $20 plus shipping. If anyone's interested...

Re: 72 sending unit
Is this new GM NOS or reproduction. If NOS GM, I'll take it. Thanks, Dan

Re: 72 sending unit
It's a repop for sure. I'll get the shipping rate tomorrow kingsolver72. I'd guess $10-12 max though...

Re: 72 sending unit
Maybe you can clear this up for me. LMC makes a distinction between a 2 barrel and a 4 barrel carburetor set up on the sending units. Is this a legitimate distinction? If so what application is the one you have?
Also is this the complete unit?...float,sock..take out the old, replace with the new? Sorry for the questions..I am a little gun shy from a couple of past deals. Thanks. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 72 sending unit
It's a complete unit, ready to pull the old and throw in the new. Here's a picture. It came from a place called Impalla Bob's. Item #PL7200. I don't know anything about the 2 barrel vs. 4 barrel, but my truck did come with a 4 barrel carb if that helps....

Re: 72 sending unit
Ok,sorry to be a pain..I am interested but, I have a 68,350 with a four barrel carb. and automatic trans.
Now I don't know if there is a difference with the sending units in regards to year specific, carb specific and trans specific applications. Is there anyone that can clear this up for me.. I don't want to hold your sale up...if someone else will definitely take it I am ok with that. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 72 sending unit
No problem. My truck is a 72, 350 automatic 4 barrel carb, so I think it would be exactly the same, but that's up to you. Let me know if interested....

Re: 72 sending unit
Ok I think the big difference is whether or no if it has evaporative emission control or not.
Again I am interested. Posted via Mobile Device |
