My new 85

I'm usually over in talking about my 66 but I just bought this gal tonight and thought I'd show it off a little.
Hardly any rust, body is straight, 350 engine was replaced 30K ago and she really purrs. I can't wait to start tinkering with it.
New tires next weekend.

Nice truck man, and welcome to the side where it's hip to be square. I wanted a 4 wheel drive 81 -87 but I got my 2 wheeler for free, couldn't pass it up.

Re: My new 85

I have all week to figure out what to do to it since I'm traveling for business. I might even have to order some parts and have them waiting for me when I get home.

Re: My new 85

Also I like the way your exhaust is set up, can you take some pictures of it when you get the chance?

Good find looks pretty clean from here. It would have been hard to me to pass that up if I had seen it haha! What are your plans for it so far?

New tires this weekend, change the oil and check all the fluids. Get the buffer out and see if I can bring a shine out of the paint, its pretty rough. Check the brakes out and see how worn they are, that kind of stuff. It will probably end up as my hunting truck this year and go from there.

Drive it and see if I can find anything that needs work.
