I ran across an old picture...

I ran across an old picture of my truck. It was taken in 1982 or 1983 not too long after I bought it (paid $500). It has 2 motorcycles, 2 ATC's and misc. camping gear in the back. Then, fast forward 29 or 30 years. I think it's camping days are long gone.

Looks great Randy. Did it have the 502 in it in 1983?

No Scott, no 502 in '83...old greasy 307 2bbl w/th350. It got a $50 Ecology Center 350 2bbl a few years later. Around '94 it got a +.030 427 bb w/th400 make over.
Did you get your truck back yet?

Re: I ran across an old picture...

Its funny how things change over the years. Your truck has for sure changed for the better. I have always wanted to take my truck to the track (motocross)with my bike in the back like I did years ago (fully restored now) but I'm afraid someone will run into it! Nice ride my friend. Cheers,Pat

Re: I ran across an old picture...

That stance is wickedly sick for a longbed. Im not an airbag fan, so a static drop that looks this good will work.
What is your drop now?

I don't know what the drop is exactly, something like 4/6 or maybe 5/7. I know getting my floor jack under the front crossmember is a tight squeeze and I'm gonna' have to bite the bullet and C-notch the rear, there's only about 1.25 to 1.5 inches between the frame and rearend housing.
