Change tranny dipstick seal...
It's that time of here and fluids are all getting flushed in my truck. Oil and radiator are done. Even did the power steering fluid... Tonight is a tranny flush. Think I might have a lil leak around the dipstick tube.
Anyone ever replaced that seal? Hoping it's easy to get to and should pull straight out? Also gonna change the filter inside. It's. TH400 transmission. Thanks for reading. Weev- Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Change tranny dipstick seal...
Piece of cake. Get the seal from your local DIY store or trans shop. Unbolt the hold down strap from the bell housing, remove old seal, clean up, install new seal, lube up a little and slide it back in, secure bolt.

Awesome! That's what I thought but wanted a double check from someone. Thanks again!
