Front cross member
I have to replace my front cross member on my K10. So I will have to bolt it in. Just wondering if I should put a couple small welds on the ends top and bottom to reduce frame flex, dont know how much that area will be exposed to. I won't be doing any extreme wheeling in it, don't want too much flex if any. Do I even need to worry about it?

Re: Front cross member
tough question... I don't think it's needed, and I think that a little flex is ok. Flexing means that it won't crack.

Re: Front cross member
the welds will probably break. and tight 9/16 bolts will do the trick. i think the rivets are 1/2 but i always drill em out and use 9/16 bolts. personal preference.
