Can I use the same size original shocks on my 87 c10 if i am lowering my truck using the McGaughys 4.5/6 Deluxe Drop Kit or do i have to replace the shocks with shorter ones?

I use drop shocks when I replace the front springs with a 2" (or greater) drop spring.
I assume the rear has a flip kit and shock extensions?
