looking for pics of this rear bumper
my spid has this bumper listed.
I would like too see a pic of one to know what I'm looking for or even if I wanna go this rout. 4v38aa painted rear bumper also it does say "painted" does this code explain what color? my paint code is 4503aa and from what i see in my jams its light green but would the code explain the bumper colors too? and also from this code can anybody tell me if this code includes any white on the truck? i'm sure i'll find out when the sanding starts though

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
I think that V38 is simply the painted "sport" bumper. I think they were usually white, but possible silver/gray too?
Edit: here is a photo

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
And this is a 67 503 green truck. If 503 is the only code listed your truck should have been all green. That wouldn't matter on the bumpers either.
As you can see from this truck it would look great with white bumpers.

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
so does the v38 code go for both fleet and step?
pretty much a standard code for a sport bumper. yhea thats the green its a awesome color and that truck wears it very well I'm curious to know what the other charaters are for in the paint code 4503aa how do I find the interior color code? it's also green but looks like a slightly differnt color. my spid doesnt list any other paint codes so i assuming my grill should be painted just like the green truck above?

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
I think you need SS Tim, who is reading this right now With his help and others we were able to identify my paint code. well someone else who had the same paint code. 4537AD, which is 507 lt blue with white top and 2 other blues in the interior. Yeah 67 had different interior colors to add to the madness. I searched long and hard and come up confused until Tim answered with some good data. One would think these codes would be available with a quick googling but nope! TCP Global may be able to answer via phone call. If you consider each color in '67 had a solid exterior, colored body/white roof, colored body with white roof and white below trim. Not sure what the AA and AD mean maybe where the white paint went?? Curious what you find out, I like me some lt green gumby trucks!

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
Is someone spying on me????
Of the code 4503AA, the 503 is all you really need to worry about. The suffix letters are exception codes that basicly tune an option for that specific build and generally not applicable to exterior paint. Your truck is a solid light green. The interior is a similar shade but is metalic. The interior pictures are for the correct color in an original truck. Posted below are the codes for the glove box door, the interior and the the dash forward of the pad. Unfortunately I don't have the code at hand for the bumpers but they are both white paint as was shown above.

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
Here is another picture to help illustrate the metallic effect of the stock interior paint. Kind of wish I had bought this truck but importing rust to California from Maine didn't seem like the best idea at the time. But now stuffing dogs into a short step still doesn't make much sense so I guess it was the right decision.

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
dont worry tim your replys are very much appreciated I for one seem to wait till what you have to say on alot of threads and was hoping you would chime in after all this was a numbers thing and you allways seem to have the answers too them
I had taken my paint code and my delete plate too a local paint shop to pick up some paint too touch up my interior and they didnt have a match they had the same card you posted above but the color didnt match my delete and we both didnt understand why they said they could closely match it using my delete but I chose to wait till I could find more info. also thank you for clearing up my "aa"s for me that was something I truly wasnt sure of. as for the sport bumper I was really hoping too have the code come back as some step bumper or something but now i'm realizing the spid would've read "step bumper" even though the sport is easyier to find I was hoping to have a differnt look. but my plan from the the begining was too bring this truck back too its beginings and try too make it all original so sport it will be. best thing is I know where one is fella's I wanna thank you all for your knowledge and time you've been a great help to me and I only wish I could return the favor somehow so here is a small start cause we all love picks. spring time will be tear down time until then though shes gotta wear this black

The paint shop should have known that the interior was a different code than the exterior but that is easy to say. I'm pretty sure if pressed for a FORD code I might be close at best. :-) The cart clip gives the Ditzler interior color paint code. They should be able to mix to that. If the senior guy at the store can't, ask him to try Ditzler's tech line with the 43687 code. Your plate is faded to some extent and age discolored. Plus if they were trying to make the exterior code match your interior sample someone was surely going WTF???? The dark forward dash green is a deeper, flat color that is apparent when you pull the pad and see the color change line at the clip holes. AA codes are a "work in progress". Likely its going to end up being a "pay per review" SPID service subject to demand.

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
yes they were trying too match the interior with the exterior code thats why they couldnt figure it out.at the time i didnt know either thats why I waited till i got more info now I'll be well armed with the facts.
I dont believe the card they had info on the back if I'm not mistaken it was the same as above but one sided thanks for the 43687 code that should help. 67c10rustbuket I was Inquireing about a 68 short fleet that was the 507 blue(great color) but I was a lil' slow on the draw.but thats ok cause this 7 is in much better shape and the great deal i got on it most would cry

Re: looking for pics of this rear bumper
Did they ever use the interior metallic on the exterior?
Man, that would look SWEET!
