Trans Swap
Well after a nice short road trip of 160 miles and 20 gallons of gas later i have decided that it is a bout time to get rid of the 4 speed granny trans and step up to something with an overdrive. What would be the best tranny to hook up to a 3/4 ton with a 350 and 4.11 gears. Prefer to go with an automatic. And how difficult is this type of swap to do? Thanks for any suggestions.

I have done the 4 speed to 700r4 swap. It was really easy. I would just say to make sure that you get a rebuilt one so that you are not pulling it in and out a bunch of times.
good luck
