Re: Looking for the correct blue interior color help needed

My interior before the 2nd restoration:

LMC carries a blue vinyl dye that looks to match the medium blue color in a spray can. I usually get a paint mixed to paint interior colors. Trevor

Re: Looking for the correct blue interior color help needed

BUMP.

I have an 81 Silverado (light blue outside) I cannot find a match for the OEM (I believe it is OEM) interior color. I've been to KC Paint and looked at the PPG books and the spray-cans and color charts at ACE and other places. No luck.

Typical blue interior. Very common. Thought it would be easy to find... Don't people dye their interior blue often? (FYI: This is for the metal interior molding along the bottom of my headliner)

Anyone know what I should go with here? The only option I have right now is to get the two closest rattlecan matches and spray simultaneously and see what happens.

It would benefit you to repost this over in the 73-87 side of the board. It's usually frowned upon to hijack someone else's thread. In this case the original blue color for the 67-72 trucks is nothing like what you're asking.
