intro and project...K5 2X
Whats up everyone, like most I have been lurking around and getting info and ideas...So Hello love the site.
Got a 1986 k5 from my uncle who was og owner in the process of converting it to 2wd bagging it and drivin it, will keep postin pics as I go day i got it started the tear down |

Well for those who might be wondering these pics I've been posting are from the past few months, I got some more parts in so i can finish up the front,and still need to run the air system and start on the rear suspension.
Slow process but its coming along |

Bad ass. Not a bad idea. Been wanting a 2wd Blazer- but they are hard to find around here. And if you plan the lay it out- like you did...you are buying everything anyway. i may start looking at 4x's to convert.

thanks........yeah Ive been lurking and searching the site for a while and this seemed the best way for me to get a clean all original look on bigger wheels and bagged k5,Iam happy with it so far.

Thanks guys for the positive comments...
I've been working on the parts for the rear, got an 96 ss impala rear end so that will be the axle I go with just got to clean it up, still need a few parts to have the front 100% |

Haven't checked I got it for the bolt pattern and the disc brakes it's close if not the same

Wow I just was in Vegas at sema drooling over your truck.....
The rear seat in the blazer will be modified... narrowed alittle and I'am going to lower the brackets Ill get more pics up this weekend I regret doing my inner fenders after seeing your front tubs in person, great product |
