Just wondering if you have to do the blazer tank relocation to put in different seats? I was told by another board member that you don't need to do the swap in order to put different seats in.

I'm asking because my dad is probably going to scrap my mom's old car('92 pontiac bonneville SE) And I wouldn't mind getting the buckets out of it(pwr seats

) but I'm not ready to do the tank swap yet......i'm not even sure if I want to? Any thoughts?

You can keep the incab tank. I have seen all types of seat other than ours in place of the originals. I had a bench from a 90 C1500 in mine and have since put in a splint bench from a 94 C1500 extracab. Main thing would be how to mount the seats and how high or low they set compared to the stock ones.

The Bonneville seats should do real well, althought using the factory Bonneville mounts might make them set a little low.

Have fun man. Buckets give you a lot to pla with also.

If you think about it, the top of your seet hits the cab wall above the tank before it comes close to hitting the seat. Anything else would be way uncomfortable.

I used a Flex Steel bench in mine and it fit with the tank in.
