Cowl vent screen?
Has anyone placed wire screen under the cowl vent to cut down on debris? Glad you did? Wish you hadn't?

Re: Cowl vent screen?
I have seen a few members make their own cowl screen, and were very happy that they did and were pleased with the appearance.
Myself, I purchased the cowl screen kit and I am happy with it.

Re: Cowl vent screen?
I got mine at Brothers. I think most vendors carry them.

Re: Cowl vent screen?
Right, most if not all vendors sell them.
As to where I got mine? I don't remember, since I purchase my stuff from everyone... I do know that you can get either stainless steel, or black painted screens (Which is what I got).

Re: Cowl vent screen?
We did this with gutter screen from Home Depot. Used some liquid nails and clamps and think it looks great! The only mod we had to do was with the wiper arms/wiper fluid...very easy
Wish I had a pic at work...if I remember it, I will snap one tonight. |
