This isn't mine but its on a parts truck I am buying and it shows on the spid. I dine realize they installed step bumpers on our trucks at the factory.

Re: show me your step bumpers
That's the exact same bumper that was on my '71 Custom Camper/20 (Cheyenne). It slides out, right? 1st pic
My '72 GMC has a Barten's bumper (2nd pic),but '72 had a one year-only stamped bumper while prior years had one made from c-channel (shown in prior post). The '72 Chevys have the '72 step bumper (3rd & 4th pic).

Re: show me your step bumpers
I bought this one years ago. I just ordered it from a local bumper place.
I use it all the time when hauling the trash off.

Re: show me your step bumpers
This first one kind of blurs the line between a step bumper and a deck. The second is a fairly skinny aftermarket.

Re: show me your step bumpers
Probably the best shot I have of mine, its a heavy bugger, complete with receiver hitch and is fully welded to the frame so zero chance of removing it easily although I'm kinda fond of it now.
