Quick Jimmy story!

I've grown up with these trucks, There was a suburban in my life from 1973 to 1986 when I left home, my father continued to drive them for work until 1991. 24 years ago I met my wife ( I know together for 24 years is rare) her dad had a early 1980's Jimmy. Rusty , expected for New Brunswick. I got to know him and we started talking about the Jimmy.
He bough it used , guy had it blew the motor towing , talked his way in to a new 350 and Blair got it for a great deal.
From the first day he drove it , the Jimmy had a weird clunk in the rear end, trips to the local GM dealer in Bathurst with technicians laying on the cargo floor while Blair drove proved useless, the clunk remained.
One day he left home on his way to work at the mill, as he hit the pavement he hears a weird metallic ring, he got out to find a rusted piece of the rear quarter had fallen off and a 7/16 wrench that was engraved with GM of canada fell out.
No more clunk!
I miss my father in-law, he was a good guy.
