Got another/saved from the crusher..
My friend from Idaho called , he had been told about a 56 here in town that was going to the crusher... turned out it was a 66...
This truck was less than a mile away from me in an alley, been sitting there since 88, the guy was just going to haul it over the scales, so he let me have it for crusher price! pretty rough, but has a bunch of great options: posi, bbw, chrome package, factory back bumper, guage dash. It was originally owned by burlington northern, they bought it as a white truck with the black stripe, then it was painted orange, then blue over that... pics:

Re: Got another/saved from the crusher..
Good save, Jon!
I hate seeing these poor old warriors on trailers heading to the crusher. It breaks my heart. With scrap prices nowadays, it's happening way too much.
